SetAside 1099 — Privacy Policy

TapTap Performance LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the SetAside mobile application (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Income, expense, mileage, and project records you enter
- Tax profile information (filing status, state of residence, set-aside percentage)
- Client and subcontractor names
- Receipt images and documents you upload
- Your email address (used for account authentication)
We also collect limited technical data:
- A unique device identifier (generated locally, not tied to your Apple ID)
- App version and device model (for support and compatibility)
- Crash reports and error logs (no financial data included)
We do not collect:
- Your Social Security Number or EIN
- Bank account or payment card information
- Precise location data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the App's features
- Calculate tax reserve estimates and generate summaries
- Sync your data securely across your devices
- Respond to support requests
- Improve App functionality and fix bugs
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not use your financial data for advertising purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your financial data is stored using Supabase, a cloud infrastructure provider, with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Receipt images and documents are stored in encrypted object storage.
We apply the principle of least privilege across all systems. Your data is logically isolated by user account and is not accessible to other users.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — cloud database and authentication
- Apple (apple.com) — device OS, biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID), in-app purchases
These providers have their own privacy policies governing their data practices. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or tracking frameworks.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your account and all associated financial records within 30 days. Receipt images and exported documents in cloud storage are deleted within the same window.
Anonymized, aggregated usage metrics (e.g., feature usage counts with no personal data attached) may be retained for product improvement purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data stored in your account (visible in the App)
- Correct inaccurate data (editable in the App)
- Export your data as CSV files (via Reports → Export)
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data (via Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing us)

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
