RM's Percussion Lab — Privacy Policy

TapTap Performance LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the RM's Percussion Lab mobile application (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
RM's Percussion Lab is designed to be privacy-first. We collect minimal information:
- Crash reports and error logs (to diagnose and fix issues)
- Basic device information (device model, iOS version, app version) for compatibility and support purposes
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Your percussion patterns, sequences, kit configurations, or any musical content you create
- Precise location data
- Contacts, photos, or other personal files
2. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we collect is used solely to:
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- Ensure compatibility across devices and iOS versions
- Respond to support requests you initiate
We do not sell your information to third parties.
We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
All of your musical content — percussion patterns, step sequences, voice configurations, tempo settings, and any other creative data — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that store your personal data or musical content.
The App does not require an account, login, or sign-in of any kind. Your data is protected by Apple's on-device security, including device encryption.
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple StoreKit (apple.com) — subscription and in-app purchase processing
Apple processes payments and has its own privacy policy governing its data practices. We are not responsible for Apple's privacy practices.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or tracking frameworks.
5. Data Retention
Because your content lives on your device, you control it. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data, including your percussion patterns and sequences. Crash logs provided to Apple through App Store Connect are governed by Apple's data retention policies.
To manage your subscription, visit your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Purchase records held by Apple are governed by Apple's policies.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not maintain servers with your personal data, your data can be managed directly on your device:
- Delete individual patterns, sequences, or kits within the App
- Delete the App to remove all locally stored data

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
